“I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s Disease in 2009. I’m not referring to the year she passed, but the year she stopped being the grandma I had admired and adored for a lifetime. A woman so classy and kind, she made an impact on everyone she encountered. Since then, my mission has been to do all I can to ensure this disease doesn’t take away another person I love. I use my brain to raise funds and advocate for the disease. My brain and body allow me to create and execute fundraising events and initiatives, join forces with others in the Alzheimer’s community to raise awareness, share my story, and be a leading voice of Alzheimer’s for my generation.
