In 2010, Maria Shriver partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association on the Shriver Report’s groundbreaking study, A Woman’s Nation Takes on Alzheimer’s, which broke the story that Alzheimer’s disease disproportionately affects women, a finding that inspired her to found the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement (WAM), now WAM at Cleveland Clinic. Sixteen years later, Maria took to the stage at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in London for the first ever WAM Symposium to ask: where are we now?
