There are currently 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease, and no one understands that better than this week’s experts Sherry & Kevan Watson and actor Sean Hayes.
When Move for Minds speaker Sherry Watson of Kentucky found out she had Alzheimer’s, she admits she was afraid, but she did not allow her diagnosis to slow her down. She credits her caregiving husband and sons with moving her forward. Her son, Kevan, agrees that his mother is “strong,” “brave,” and “stubborn.”
Actor Sean Hayes, the star of the NBC hit comedy “Will & Grace,” is also a child of Alzheimer’s. His mother, Mary, sadly passed from the disease in 2018. He spoke at Move for Minds about his experience and how Maria and WAM helped him better understand the disease.
In recognition of National Caregiver’s Month, we share the incredible stories of these three Move For Minds speakers. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE
