“I lost my Grandmomma to Alzheimer’s four years ago, and my Memaw is currently living with dementia. A woman’s brain is her lifeline- memories hold everything we need to be happy and healthy. I’m using my brain to fight this disease, to take a stand for my grandmothers, for myself, for my children, and for my children’s children. I envision the end of Alzheimer’s. And to help acquire that vision, I work as an Alzheimer’s Association ambassador and I captain Team Brunette in Blondes vs. Brunettes- Columbia, South Carolina.
