Our beautiful mom was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s at the young age of 68. When I first noticed that something just wasn’t right with her, we immediately had the basic tests run and found she had thyroid cancer. After that surgery, her symptoms increased dramatically. My fears were solidified after having blood tests and MRI’s that confirmed…Alzheimer’s. Like the thief it truly is, the disease has intensified over the past 5 1/2 years.
