My mother started showing signs of Alzheimer’s when I was in my early 30’s. She lived with the disease for 14 years. I was honored to be one of her caregivers, yet living with Alzheimer’s was a devastating experience. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with AlzAuthors.com, an organization that offers a wide selection of resources for Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers. I’m grateful to be able to join with other women to share compassion, fight this disease and lift up those on the journey.
